One Life Child Sponsorship Program:  (child advocacy, care)

Hundreds of children are enrolled in the One Life Child Sponsorship Program, designed for the child who is still cared for by extended family or community, but has lost one or both parents as well as children living in one of three children’s homes.  We have learned that there are no individual HIV victims; HIV attacks the family unit—the one who is in mourning and the one who takes on the burden of caring for another child.  Through this program, children receive financial support for monthly food vouchers, school costs, and medical care.  It is designed to assist the fostering family who truly has the best interests of the child at heart to afford to continue caring for the child(ren).
